Saturday, November 8th @ 7:00 pm “Second Saturday” in Media “Thanks & Giving with World of Song" Come share in the joy of the season and embark on a journey to delight the imagination with dancing falling colors, wind and leaves, singing pumpkins, talking turkeys, stories and songs that warm the heart with the spirit of thanks and giving. Jump into your ‘jammies’ and come play a long with World of Song’s singer/songwriter and teacher, Allison DeSalvo, accompanied by guitarist Charlie Phillips, performing a special, interactive concert of traditional, original and international songs using make believe, puppets, instruments and art creating an innovative music program for the whole family that nurtures creativity and an appreciation of the arts in a loving spirit of learning and joy! Saturday, December 20th, 2008 "Holiday Sing-a-Long" Please join World of Song's singer/children's entertainer Allison DeSalvo & Friends, accompanied by guitarist Charlie Phillips and percussion, as they bring alive the spirit of the holidays performing classic favorites celebrating Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanzaa, Peace and Love. Come prance like reindeer, spin like dreidles, jingle some sleigh bells and color a giant holiday mural. A joyfully festive, interactive concert of singing and dancing with instruments, puppets, stories and art for the whole family! Featuring Elizabeth Bromley of Cantemos Juntos, surprise performances and "The Singing Moms" too! Refreshments after the show! Saturday, January 10th "Whimsical Winter Wonderland" Jump into your 'jammies' and join World of Song's singer/songwriter and teacher, Allison DeSalvo accompanied by guitarist Duane Large. Warm up winter singing and dancing along in another joyful family concert of traditional, international and original songs to celebrate the winter solstice and season of snowy days and starry nights, furry animals and sleigh rides in the city.
