“The Joy of Learning, the Music of Life…

Welcome, I’m Allison DeSalvo — an artist, teacher, performer, and singer-songwriter who loves to sing, dance, act, write, paint, and play. The arts, intertwined with the beauty of nature, have always been my greatest source of inspiration. My passion is nurturing the creative spark within each of us while illuminating connections to life and the world around us. Experiences that invite wonder, imagination, and discovery for children or adults, families, artists and educators are most meaningful. Whether on stage, in classrooms and workshops or through community collaborations, it is a gift to bring people together to celebrate and appreciate our shared humanity in a loving spirit of learning and joy!

Sing-a-long to "Apple Round”, a magical, madrigal merry-go-‘round’ capturing children’s love of fall’s iconic traditions - apple picking, playing in leaves, and pumpkin harvesting time. Simple playful, rhyming words and rhythmic pulse supports early childhood learning, nervous system regulation and exploration of the colorful season.

This song and 15 others are on my 2nd album of family music It’s A Beautiful World which celebrates the gifts of friendship, family and nature's changing seasons. The songs explore and support children’s interactions and understanding of their relationship between the outer, physical world and their inner, emotional lives, to inspire caring about one another and our world.
